Dec. Update

My last blog I wrote that I had won a prize in the Capture Lane County photo contest. I won Best News & Events Photo Section. One of my photos was used in the book Full Page!

And the Winner is???????

I was chosen for a prize for a photo I entered in the Capture Lane County book being published by the Eugene Register Guard. They don't say what I won but I do get to go to a VIP party it says! I will post my winnings later the Party is not till Nov. 21st! oh FYI they will be having a book release party at Borders in Eugene!

I am Back!

Well I thought I would set down and restart this blog and let you all know what I been up to. As many of you know I am a freelance photographer. This year started out like most years same old thing! I had applied for accreditations for the 2008 Olympic Track and Field Trials being held in Eugene (AKA Eugene 08) I was denied them do to I was a Freelancer L Later this year I got a letter from the Olympic committee inquiring if I would be interested in photographing the 2008 Olympic Team. Well you can guess what my answer was! Along with photographing the Team I got a pass to also photograph the Olympic Track and Field Trails as well. Photographers night out!

So I decided to go out this evening and photograph something! Its been months if not years that I just took my camera out and did this! I know sounds funny Me a Photographer saying this but this was what I am trying to say is that its been some time that I got to go out and take photos for no clients. I use to do this all the time but then I took up photography as a carer and now it seems that I am feeling flat in the creative department! So I went to Autzen Stadium just as the sun was setting! I took this image tonight kinda felt good to do this. Will have to do it once or twice a week!
